Sunsets in Corfu

Sunsets in Corfu

If you've ever found yourself on a Corfu beach watching the sun dip below the horizon, you know it's an experience that sticks with you forever. Corfu sunsets are legendary, known for their breathtaking beauty and ability to captivate the hearts of visitors and locals alike. This mix is an ode to an unforgettable sunset stroll along a Corfu beach, capturing that magical moment's tranquil vibes and vibrant hues.

The tempo here is nice and mellow, mirroring the slow and gradual transformation of the sky and its colours as the sun says goodbye. Let these tracks soundtrack your twilight descent, inviting you to unwind, embrace the night's embrace, and gather with friends around your favourite spot to savour a refreshing cocktail and celebrate the end of another day.

To add a touch of Corfu sunset magic to your evening, whip up this Grapefruit Gin & Tonic made using the Mediterranean Malfy Gin.

Grapefruit Gin & Tonic

Sunsets in Corfu

This cocktail recipe offers a refreshing twist on the classic Malfy Gin Rosa G&T showcased on their website. Typically, we'd never substitute Schweppes tonic water for Fever-Tree, especially with a delicate gin like Malfy. Schweppes tonics tend to be sweeter than Fever-Tree, which could overpower the gin's subtle flavours. However, after experimenting with a splash of grapefruit juice, we found that the added citrus tang beautifully offsets Schweppes' sweetness.

For this cocktail, the key ingredient is freshly squeezed grapefruit juice, ensuring a vibrant burst of citrus flavour. Combining Malfy Gin, grapefruit juice, Schweppes Pomelo, and Nepalese berry tonic water, this drink is elevated with a final flourish—a garnish of fragrant rosemary sprig, enhancing both aroma and presentation.
